There are some supplements that are able to make cramps less severe and less frequent. Magnesium is one of the most commonly used ones, and it relaxes your muscles and reduces cramping. If you are experiencing cramps, then you may very well have a magnesium deficiency. It’s best to use a dose of 200-500mg magnesium to treat cramps. If you have been working out a lot lately, then you may be dehydrated and in need of electrolytes. Any rehydration powder can do the trick, replenishing your electrolytes through sodium and potassium.
